  • 4marathons this year

Runclub started with a habit: 5km a day, every day. It added up to 1,022km in a year, and somewhere along the way the short runs turned into marathons. Four this year, with Soweto still to come.

This is the club I wish I'd had at the start. Group runs around Johannesburg at an easy, chatty pace, where nobody gets left behind. Race reports from the ones I've run, honest notes on training and getting healthy, and a community to keep each other going between the long runs.

All levels are welcome. If you can run 5km, or want to, you're in.

The first group run gets announced to members first. Join to hear about it.
