Hello, world
Why I'm starting to write things down, and what to expect here.
For a long time this site was a single page with a photo and a link to my resumé. That was fine for telling people who I am, but it said nothing about how I think.
So I'm starting a blog. Not a content machine, just a place to think out loud about the things I care about: building software, designing things people enjoy using, and trying to live on purpose.
What you'll find here
- Engineering notes. Things I've built, broken and learned from.
- Design. Why some things feel good to use and others don't.
- Life. Philosophy, poetry and the occasional long thought about Africa and where I fit in it.
Writing is thinking made visible. If I can't explain it simply here, I probably don't understand it yet.
How often
When I have something worth saying. Follow along with the RSS feed, or email me and I'll let you know when something new is up.
Thanks for reading.
